My Holiday Gift Guide (A Few of My Favorite Things)

The holiday season is here and I wanted to share my favorite gifts for everyone on your list. From kitchen appliances and beauty to health and wellness products and fashion accessories, I've got you covered.

I know many of you will start your shopping this week, so I'm delivering my favorite things that I use almost daily and share a few new finds from the past year, many of which are local and female-owned businesses. You can find the complete list over on my blog, but I've highlighted a few of my favorites below.

Big Raven Yoga Mats:I recently discovered this amazing yoga mat, which is not only beautiful to the eye but super functional as they have a grippy microfiber surface that removes the need for a towel. No more bunched up towels that you need to fix in the middle of your practice or sliding around on your mat. You can even throw these in your washing machine!

Milk Frother If you like warm beverages with milk, then this is a must have appliance. This makes the perfect frothy milk, and you can make hot chocolate and matcha tea lattes by just adding milk and the power and this appliance does the rest! My kids use it to make hot coco so a great gift to give your entire family.

Swig Wine Tumbler I've given this wine tumbler to several close friends over the past year and found a local boutique that will also monogram them, making it a great personalized gift. And no, it's not only for wine but any hot or cold beverage. I use mine often for tea too.

Rebounder (Indoor Trampoline) I moved this mini tramp into our office a few weeks ago when the temps dropped and I found it hard to get my steps in. Plus, it's great for the lymphatic system and an energy boost. I noticed that my kids bounce on it, and it's a great study break for them too.

Wake-Up Light Alarm Clock: Ok, how many of you are still using your phones as an alarm clock? I treated myself to this new alarm clock about six months ago and LOVE it. It has a two-step wake-up system. First, it lights up like the sun about 15 minutes before the time you set the alarm and then it makes a sound, which can range from a traditional beep to a variety of sounds in nature. I chose birds chirping, which my dog did not like the first time he heard it and started barking loudly at the machine. It's a bit of an investment but well worth it for improving the quality and quantity of your sleep, which plays such a critical role in your health.

Mini Belt Bag: Yup, this is an upgraded and fashionable fanny pack from the 80s. It's made by a super talented and creative entrepreneur in my town, and I wear mine multiple days a week. Perfect for walks, shopping, concerts and events where you can't bring in large bags and more. I love that you can also wear it cross body, and I now have 3 different straps that I also use with other bags. It's like getting a whole new bag with one of her fun straps.

Eyeshadow Palette: Beautiful eye shadow palette perfect for nearly all skin types. Great price point for your girlfriend gift exchange too.

Chia Leah Clean Treats Gift Pack: My friend and fellow health coach is now in the healthy food biz too, and I love this gift pack that is perfect for your friend, new neighbor, college kids, favorite teacher or yourself! Each pack includes a bag of Maple Quinoa Granola, a bag of Super Food Dark Chocolate Bark and a bag of Clean Crackers packaged with a gift tag, clip and bow. Use code HOLIDAYCHIA at checkout for her special holiday price.

Is anyone else perplexed by the Black Friday sales that start a week early? Well Beautycounter is no exception, and they rolled out their Clean Friday promo a little early too. Simply place an order from now through December 1st and receive 15% off plus free shipping on orders over $50 (a few exclusions apply). There are many great gift ideas for teachers, hairdressers, friends, family, neighbors, gift exchanges, service providers, you name it.
